Privacy policy

We collect the information Tofoot needs to run duels, ratings, and the daily challenge:

• Account information. When you create a Tofoot account by email, or by signing in with Apple or Google, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided by Apple or Google).
• Gameplay data. Duel results, the answers and risk tiers you choose, your rating, win/loss history, daily challenge scores, and badges you earn.
• Social data. Your friends list, challenges you send and receive, and any challenge links you create.
• Device & usage data. Basic device information and in-app usage events, collected through PostHog, so we can understand how Tofoot is used and fix bugs.

We do not collect your location.

Tofoot relies on a small number of trusted providers to work:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• RevenueCat — processes Tofoot Premium subscription purchases made through the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details.
• PostHog — provides product analytics and crash reporting so we can improve the app.

Tofoot is built around real head-to-head results, so some of your gameplay data is visible to other players by design. Your display name, rating, and duel results are visible to the friends and opponents you play. Your username and score on the daily challenge appear on that day’s public leaderboard. We don’t share this data with advertisers or use it for marketing outside Tofoot.

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account stays active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the app’s settings, or by emailing tofoot-app@proton.me. We’ll delete it within a reasonable time.

Tofoot is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at tofoot-app@proton.me and we’ll remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Tofoot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
